This beautiful mama to be is expecting TWINS!! She is truly glowing, and so anxious to meet her little girls. So am I ;)

In about two and a half weeks, I’ll no longer be living in the house I’ve called home for 6 years. We’re moving up in the world, I guess. We found a place that’s bigger and will eventually be home to my father-in-law as well. So it’s something we need for the future. But as I pack and clean and get ready to make the big move, I can’t help but ponder on the past. I’ll miss this place. I’ll miss my sweet neighbors… who have always been there to help shovel snow, or rake leaves. Or just chat. I’ll miss sending my kiddos across the street to borrow a cup of powdered sugar. And then repay it with cupcakes or cookies. I’ll miss watching the snow fall from the big front window. I think my kids will miss it too.

I’ll miss my running buddy. I’ll miss being able to have my kids walk home from school. I’ll miss my huge tree that drops the beautiful amber leaves in the fall. But I’m excited about the possibilites of a new neighborhood, a new school… 

Someone asked me today, are you excited? I think Sondheim said it best, I’m “excited and scared.”  

So… here’s to trying something new. Wish us luck!

My friend Jen and I have had this vision for a vintage 40’s photoshoot for a long time now. Her hubby just loves the WWII era, and she wanted to do something fun for him. And when it seemed like Valentine’s Day was getting closer and closer, it just seemed like the right time to do it. We incorporated some fun vintage props as well as some Valentine’s goodies and it just came together. Better than I had imagined it! The models are stunning, the make-up, hair and clothes just worked! Plus, these girls look like they walked straight out of 1945. Thanks again to my stunning models Jenifer Allen and Caitlin Larsen. Great job!
